The New Project for 2013

I said in my last post that I would be explaining some of the details surrounding my project focus for the coming year. This being new year’s eve, and I’ve still not progressed with my website as much as I would have liked. Apart from the fact that there’s a ton of work involved in getting it “ready”, it’s a very lethargic time of year, so when relying on other businesses you could be in for a very slow-paced time of it. In this case I’m trying to get a few affiliate links for some of my recommended products but it’s been very snail-paced.

Not the least of the problems is caused by power cuts in this part of the world. The amount of times I’ve written up posts only to succumb to a power cut where a segment of my post bites the dust. I know that sounds like a silly and basic mistake to make, but circumstances dictate.

Nevertheless, I hope to have it all up and running relatively smoothly within the next few days, at which time I’ll let the cat well and truly out of the bag.

A quick shout out to a few guys down south from where I am – I’m sure you know exactly who they are. The guys from AdSense Flippers did some charity work and managed to purchase 500 Christmas presents for the local kids in Davao City, Philippines. No doubt that was instrumental in making a whole lot of families happy, even more so due to the carnage caused by a recent tornado down there which took well over 1,000 lives and left a very large amount of families homeless and destitute. Check out some of the pics they added onto Facebook:

Finally, I’d like to wish you a very happy new year, and hope that you find the success you’ve been aiming to achieve during 2013!

  1. Happy new year Homezz!!!

  2. And the same to you Ralphy! I had a terrible migraine throughout the night, and would you believe it that it was not drink induced. Tried all sorts of medication to get rid of it since it lasted the whole day and night, but to no avail. Then finally resorted to the old pressure point concept thing and that worked really well. I’m now a “pressure point” convert!

  3. Hello Joseph :)

Know that I still come and check your blog every few days to see how things are with you. I don’t comment often anymore is all :) You’re the guy who started this IM game for me, and without your influence and ideas I’d have failed long ago! Still wish I had had the chance to do that JV with you back then!

I am eager to see what you have going on here.

Cheers Jo, and best of luck!
    Jim

  4. Happy new year when it hits home in your neck of the woods Jim! Must be getting close.

I guess the new project is a bit like a jv because what I will be doing is learning then sharing what I learn Jim. The main reason for what I’m going to do is in fact to generate an income, although the key to success is having a passion for the subject matter. If I can make this first project a success, then I’ll possibly go on and do more of the same in other niches (and teaching what I’m doing in order to become successful). After all, if you’re pretty up to scratch on the make money online niche, you’ve defo got a sincere advantage when you venture into other niches online.

    Best wishes for 2013!

    Jo

  5. Wow! I thought pressure was the stuff that CAUSED the migraines?? It’s Champers for me tonight my friend…perhaps pressure point therapy tomorrow? :-)

  6. Pressure from the point of view that when I went to get money out of my bank, there was nothing left. Still managed to get a glass of wine though, even if I did have to beg the neighbours for it :-) Enjoy the champers! (and the pressure point therapy tomorrow :-) ).

  7. Thanks for the shout, Joseph! We had a blast handing out the gifts this year, for sure.

I’m interested to hear what you have in store for 2013. We were supposed to be doing quite a bit of planning the last few weeks, but that’s really been delayed due to…well…life, heh.

  8. Looks like you all had great fun Justin, and once again, well done and good for you – very admirable indeed!

What I have in store for 2013 hopefully will take up much of my time – learning some new skills but also building on the sort of stuff I know already. And I wish you the very best with everything you do over the coming year!
