SEO Tips and Tricks – let’s make this journey thrilling!
Hi and welcome! As this is the first post for the website I best introduce to you my thoughts on where I intend on taking it. No doubt this will change as time goes by, but for now here are some basics as to what I wish to tackle in the coming weeks to months.
Everything SEO related.
Yup, that’s it! Whether I can or not, well, that depends on a number of factors – one of the key ones is dependent on if I can make this site a thriving community for all those of you looking to gain some great tips for free.
Okay, you no doubt are asking who is Joseph Archibald, right? How will he be any different to many others who claim that they are gurus with regards to SEO but yet it becomes fairly obvious after reading a few of their posts that they know little more than the average Joe Blow.
There’s the answer… the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. Let’s face the facts here – SEO is very much a hands on pursuit. If you try out a few techniques that some so-called guru has suggested in his or her blog only to find they fall short, will you return to read more at that blog? No, I thought not. I tell it how it is, or I stand to be corrected, simple as that. I don’t fluff out or ramble my posts – except when I’m excited to relate stuff to you, the reader. Then yes, I’m guilty of rambling a bit. But I’m sure you will forgive me that, right?
Once you begin to read my stuff – my ramblings, if you will, you will see that I don’t just offer up the same old stuff that’s been written about a million times already. Sure, I will cover some of the old stuff – the good stuff, that many IM’ers already are familiar with, simply because a lot of new IM’ers are not so familiar.
So, yes, this site has to cover a lot of the basics too. But, I shall be adding in a lot of twists and turns, which in my opinion will improve at least somewhat on the old methods that are used by everyone and their dog. In fact, I intend to introduce some methods that will – if you implement them correctly, will get you hopping with excitment as you watch your own site rise in the rankings!
But more – my techniques do work because I use them myself and many of my sites are ranking well, at least in Google. More on this later – I don’t want to bang my own drum too much. Best to let others do it for me – or perhaps I’m full of hot air, that remains to be seen… For that to happen I have to prove my worth to you!
Do not forget though, that although I intend to make this a journey for you the reader, its also a journey for me too. I simply could never have implimented every SEO technique and tried and tested it out for success. It can take months to see if something works. If it does not work it may only take a few tweaks to get it to work. So you can imagine that in my 2 -3 years of real serious SEO work, I could not have trialed every method around. Not by a long way!
I want to make this journey that we are going to share together enjoyable, fun, thrilling too! If you don’t yet know how it feels to see your own site beginning to rise in the search engines, I can tell you from experience that its a heck of a thrill! Every time I see my own sites rising in the ranks I still get that real thrill, regardless its going to make good money or not. Others would call this a “dud”. Hmmm… I don’t know. If I can get any of my sites top 5 in Google for my chosen keyword that for me is a SUCCESS!! Sure, I need to pay the bills – we all do, but at the same time I will take a whole heap of satisfaction that I can rank my site top 5 in Google – every single time I do it, even if I make like a buck a month from it. After all, ask yourself a question here. If you could rank your own sites say, top 5 in Google – 4 times out of 5 (for every 4 out of 5 sites that you created), do you suspect that it may not take too long before you’ve got someone banging on your door asking you to do this for them too? So no, none of my sites are duds regardless if I make $80 a month from it or $1 a month.
Let’s enjoy the SEO tips and tricks journey together, shall we!
