Who else yawns when they hear the mention of doing a press release to boost your own SEO efforts? I have to admit that I do.
Creating a press release sounds like a laborious task because you have to adhere to certain rules to have the release accepted.
So its a bit like “don’t do this, don’t do that, but that is good…”. I suppose that is like life really, but when it comes to writing, I for one simply cannot write for long if I am constricted by rules and regulations. Its just not for me. I HAVE to allow the creative juices to flow, so press releases are too constrictive.
With that said, up till now I have gone no where near writing press releases in pursuit of backlinks for SEO. That was until just a few days ago.
I was reading around on various blogs and came across the concept of using press releases for SEO. Now okay, as mentioned this would usually have me yawning and moving to the next post, but I’m currently at the stage of doing more research with regards to getting quality backlinks but at a much more affordable cost than of recent.
If you have been reading along on my Warrior Forum thread recently then this may have you sniggering – you may have seen the recent “outbursts” regards to monthly fees for software products and services in the pursuit of obtaining quality backlinks.
And let us face the facts here, it can be hugely expensive to be using a variety of services whereby you pay a monthly fee. You can easily run that cost up to thousands of dollars monthly. Easily!

As a sidenote here, I’m going to be making my posts much shorter and more easily read. I shall be very much limiting posting to the thread on the Warrior Forum, and thus will be focusing more closely on my blog here and on my opt-in messages. And on my own forum too, which is in real need of further quality content.
I shall carry on this friendly chat in the next post, which will be up soon.
Thanks for coming by and continuing to support the SEO tips and tricks blog!
