Optin List to be Capped at 50 So do Get on board Now!

by Joseph on April 22, 2011

Crocodiles in Sarawak Malaysia Optin List to be Capped at 50 So do Get on board Now!Its been a bit quiet on the blog of recent and the reason for which is that I’ve been not only building up the new affiliate site (which still is not fully complete), but also adding some juicy content for everyone who has opted in to getting on board with the little known-about affiliate products which I have been fortunate to gain insight and education about over the past couple of months.

There’s far too many products that will be added to this list in the months to come for me to take on by myself, so its a wise move to share it with everyone who visits my blog.

I sense that if you have not yet opted in, then you could very well be missing out not only on making some very good income, but also missing out on information that I have not shared any where else, ever – not on this blog, not any other place. And the information is specifically geared to the product in question, so no one should be left wondering what to do and how to proceed. And if they are, then I’m on hand to work together – one on one – to ensure more thorough understanding.

Now if you add 2 and 2 together here, you get a very unusual set-up whereby there is money on the table and you are being informed just how to get your hands on it.

As I previously mentioned – how many other affiliate products are available to you that you will provide hugely detailed instructions on setting up a successful marketing campaign? And how many other affiliate products out there – the good ones – that are not already over-subscribed with hungry affiliates who are desperate to see some income from their own efforts? Most fail dreadfully because the niche is already thoroughly over-subscribed with affiliates trying to get their cut of the income pie.

I’m not one for beating my own drum too often, but in this case I will just a little. I am sharing stuff that has taken me over 3 years of hard effort to learn, and much of it is personal to me so you will not get this info any where else. So even if you are too busy with your own online projects, or too busy with family or with your job and career, its still a wise move to get on board and sign up to the optin, just to learn more about the ins and outs of affiliate marketing for yourself.

You may not be in a position to use that information right now, but who’s to say you will not be in the months to come. And remember – this is all free information. Its as good as – if not better than any eBook I’ve ever purchased on this subject matter, regardless it may have cost me 100 bucks. And again, I’m available to provide personal, one-on-one coaching, should the need arise.

At the moment I have set the popup box only to appear on occasion on this blog, but I shall change that so it appears more often. Sorry if it becomes annoying – I know these pop ups and pop overs can be a bit intrusive. This is only a temporary measure (see below), however. And its all in a good cause too!

If you choose to add your name and email to that, you’ll be privy to the exact same information that everyone else who has already joined up is receiving.

I’m even going as far as to make videos specifically for those who join me on this venture – again, this will not be shared on my blog or any where else. And what’s more, everyone who joins in is at liberty to ask me anything they would wish that is specific to their own campaign and I’ll be only too happy to help out as much as I can – again, there is no charge involved.

Further, I have decided it wise to cap the numbers to 50. This will ensure that everyone who takes time and makes the effort to capitalize on the information being shared will reap their just rewards.

That may not be the case if things get too busy. I’m sure some of you will have seen this happening before – where you get a big name IM person offering up a list of niches or something similar. Perhaps in the early days that list is like gold dust, with some untapped niches just begging for attention.

But as time progresses, and as more and more folks get involved, the whole system becomes so watered down that very few folks really can make the best of it and gain much success.

I think it wise to avoid that scenario, so its necessary to cap the list to just the 50 for now. I may open it up at a later date, but on the other hand, I may not.

Jungle Sunset Optin List to be Capped at 50 So do Get on board Now!

I’m off to take part in a jungle retreat over the next couple of days (think in terms of the novel “Jungle Book” but without the bears, and this being set in Malaysia, rather than India - so there are still snakes, crocodiles and a whole variety of species of monkeys and spiders to look forward to!) which I will share some photos of with you on my return (if I return, LOL!).

Please allow me time to reply to any comments left on the blog over the next couple of day. Thanks for visiting and I hope you find the content here to be of continuing value in an effort to help you to achieve your own goals in life!

Regards!

Just signed up. Thanks for the opportunity!

FYI, I got a 404 error after I put my email address in the popup box. The subscription still went through and I got the confirmation email so I think the system is mostly working.

I tried to get a hold of you earlier in the week but it looks like you’ve been busy.

Thanks again,
Matt

Joseph April 22, 2011 at 3:13 pm

Hey Matt, thanks for signing up and do please continue to provide feedback! I heard previously about the 404 but if the subscription is going through, which it is, and you are receiving the confirmation etc. then that’s the main thing – perfection is not my strong point, after all ;-)

Oh, never saw any messages on Skype – was it Skype you tried to get me on?

I’ll catch up with you again soon.

Joseph,

I’ve been meaning to e-mail you, but been so busy lately as well. I did opt in and hopefully can find some time to try my hand at some affiliate products.

It’s been on my mind for a while now, but just couldn’t get around to play around with it. Very grateful for you showing off what you know about that side of the business.

Hey Joseph – I tried signing up and got the 404 as well. I did get an email to confirm, so I’m guessing I’m still on the list though.

Joseph April 22, 2011 at 10:34 pm

Hey Tom, yes – I saw you on the list. If you do get some time to get involved, this will give you a chance to break away from the AdSense mold. Mind you, some of the products may be good for AdSense, but I’m not about to start blowing that trumpet.

This is very much new too me too Tom – not in the IM sense, but rather – in the communication and negotiation sense. I’ll be having to do quite a lot of that and I am already, which takes me away from why I got involved in IM in the first place – yup, I like the idea of being the hermit on the hill :-)

Talk again soon, Tom!

Joseph April 22, 2011 at 10:38 pm

You sure are on the list, thanks Michelle! I guess I need to try to get this 404 fixed (some way, some how), but its not a real stumbling block as you still get in on the list and you still receive all the info that truly matters. I’ve heard that the pop over is not showing up for everyone – that’s to be expected, and its another good reason for writing such a post as this. Ideally I should have put a small static optin box over on the right – but when I tried, it just looked so ugly that it was a no go.

Hope you enjoy the contents Michelle!

John April 22, 2011 at 10:46 pm

If anyone is thinking about this – then you need to….. ‘erm just opt in.

Joseph is the real deal and if you are lucky enough to be reading this early on (before this guy becomes one of the famous gurus) just do it.

He will give you his time and knowledge for free… for now anyways.

Hope you enjoy the ‘retreat’ and don’t have to do much washing up :-)

Joseph April 22, 2011 at 11:07 pm

Hey John, seems I don’t have to bang my own drum then, lol!

Are you following everything so far John – I know you were one of the early optins so you will have received all the info up till now. Is there anything that you are confused by, or does it all make sense? I need to get some more feedback about the actual content that I’m writing to ensure I’m on the right track with it. Thanks in advance if you can do that.

Washing up and me don’t go together well. I live like a batchelor in the sense that I eat from the pan I just used to cook in ;-) And every other meal that is not cooked in the same pan – well, I go out to dine and so someone else does the washing up for me. You can’t beat it when you can go out and eat for £1. And the food is delicious!

Thanks John – I’ll be back online Sunday evening, providing the crocs don’t get me. I’m vegetarian so I imagine I would not make a particularly tasty meal for them. True or not true… :-)

Jesse April 22, 2011 at 11:07 pm

Are you talking about joining your email feedburner account up on the right hand side of your blog? I did that. I never got a popup box on your website to join any list though?

Joseph April 22, 2011 at 11:19 pm

Hey Jesse, okay – seems that you are not seeing the pop over, and you are not the only one either – apologies about that – these things are certainly not infallible, no matter how good they claim to be. So for now, I’ll put a (real ugly looking) static optin box over in the right hand side bar and you can use that to opt in.

Thanks for letting me know about this Jesse!

Joseph

Joseph April 22, 2011 at 11:37 pm

There Jesse, I did warn you it would be ugly ;-)

Darn thing – can’t get it to fit the side bar. I would advise against using Get Response unless you are very familiar with the workings of an autoresponder service, or you are naturally very capable of handling techie stuff. Stick with AWeber – I remember its a bit easier to work with, and the support is really good too – better than Get Response.

Jesse April 23, 2011 at 12:42 am

Thanks Joseph, sure is easy to spot that sign up :) . All signed up and ready to go.

Thanks again.

Matthew Hooper April 23, 2011 at 1:01 am

Hi,

Yeah, it was Skype that I sent you a message on but it’s understandable. Maybe I’ll try to catch up with you on Monday or Tuesday.

– Matt

Joseph April 23, 2011 at 1:02 am

Yes, it sure is easy to spot it Jesse, LOL! Horrible looking thing it is too! Did you get a 404 error upon sign up, or has my incredible technical ability managed to finally put that error to rights?

Joseph April 23, 2011 at 1:06 am

Nothing showing on Skype Matt. No matter, Monday or Tuesday of next week would be good for me if I make it back from my time in the jungle :-)

Chris April 23, 2011 at 1:28 am

SWEET SWEET SWEET

I am one of the fifty I feel so special ;)

Joseph April 23, 2011 at 1:45 am

You are special, young man – so special that I just sent you an email… aren’t you the lucky one!

Jesse April 23, 2011 at 2:06 am

Your incredible technical ability has finally stopped the error message. It was smooth sailing for me, no 404 error message while signing up. Nice work!

Cheryl April 23, 2011 at 3:51 am

Hi, Jo..

Not sure if I was successful in signing up for this.. When I clicked the confirmation button, the page froze..

I did get an email though from getresponse..

Am I in the Top 50? ;)

Lol, yes Jesse – my “incredible” technical abilities finally shone through! Thanks for letting me know that there is now no 404 message – a simple mistake on my part, put right by my “incredible” technical abilities. Maybe I should seek a job as a tech troubleshooter with Microsoft from here on in ;-) .

Hey Che, yes – you signed up successfully and you are in on “the game”.

I’ll be in touch with you soon Che. Hope all is well over in your neck of the “woods”!

Joseph,

I’m starting to give this “affiliate dream” a serious second look. Do you have any tips as to the design and look of the sites? I haven’t done any affiliate sales before so that is definitely something that I am interested in.

It makes all the difference in the world when it comes to adsense.

Joseph April 27, 2011 at 2:07 am

Hey Tom, I’m happy about that – when I saw your name in the optin (which is coming off/down as soon as I’ve replied to you now), I thought you were merely along for the ride to see what’s what. No harm in that at all. But to see it having sparked a real interest is very good news! I would imagine that some of the products I’ll be hosting on here may indeed be good for AdSense also, so if they don’t for whatever reason pan out in terms of sales, the site may work well based on AdSense.

My site design skills Tom, are not particularly good as you’ve probably noticed (Chris, no comments, thank you!). I’m generally the sorta guy who will stick to one theme time and time again simply because I know I can work the theme and it does not cause me many headaches. But if you have a look at the website myself and Cristina built for the first product – well, put it this way, you could do much worse! Its simple, clean, easy to navigate around, provides good to very good and thoroughly related content (not written by me, I may add but it can be used as an example to write some content for yourself – this niche is best written for in very much lay-person terms, as you can tell from the testimonials on there, which are all genuine).

What if I told you that this particular product has $350,000′s worth sitting in a warehouse just waiting for the right marketing equation to come along…!! That’s a hell of a lot of greenbacks for the few of us affiliates to share amongst ourselves!! And this is just the start… Once some of that is shifted, the inventor of this particular product is going to prototype and patent a number of other ideas – we’re meeting up in China in October to discuss this and more.

Let me know if you have any further questions Tom.

Tom April 27, 2011 at 4:05 pm

Joseph,

Did you share the address of the site that you made already? I did not see it.

I would like to see an example if possible.

Bought a domain for it yesterday, so will definitely get involved now. Might be a bit slow start this next few weeks as I have a lot of other work to do but even though… as good of a time as any to get involved in affiliates.

Maybe make this a challenge as well… lol.

Seems me and GetResponse auto-responder are not getting along too well. I changed all the uploaded emails over to auto just a few days ago and I now get the impression that none of them are going out. I issued a support query for Karen’s scenario about 14 hours ago and have heard nothing about that. It may be time to look into migrating over to AWeber – I’m not happy with GetResponse at all.

I’ll try to get this sorted out Tom.

By all means make this a challenge – should make for a very interesting one!

Tom April 28, 2011 at 12:25 am

Joseph,

It’s very hard to see where to buy the product on the page. It took me a while to realize that the little paydotcom picture is what I am supposed to click on. Get some bigger “BUY NOW” pictures in there… will ya. Most people will simply exit out and not take the time to find it.

Also is it necessary that the paydotcom affiliate links take the person to your site? Why not let us sell them ourselves and simply move them straight to the cart?

Thanks,

Tom

Joseph April 28, 2011 at 1:42 am

Demands, demands, Tom.

It will take me time to figure out what’s hot and what’s not, but thanks for the feedback.

Because of my utter lack of tech ability, I’m having to rely on PayDotCom, which as it turns out are not that much better than Clickbank (even though my initial thoughts were different). It will take me a while to get things in order, but I’m trying, I’m trying…

Tom April 28, 2011 at 2:58 am

Joseph,

Keep us updated.

I’m in the process of getting two sales pages written. I’m going to do a split marketing technique and see if one works better than the other. The new site I’m making will probably take 2-3 months to rank but I have another that can work with this type of product and is getting over a 100 uniques per day so I will plug it in there sometime later this week. I haven’t done much other than adsense on it so this will be a new experience.

I have placed Amazon on some of my sites and even though I have gotten a couple hundred of clicks… only 6 sales this month. Let’s hope this one is a bit better than that.

Tom, due to you switching a trafficed site over to this product, I can now understand your need to make progress where buy now buttons and affiliate links are concerned.

I’m trying to take things reasonably paced but at the same time this tech stuff – a lot of it is fairly new to me and its me who’s having to piece it all together. Thrown in at the deep end, so to speak. And I still am having a heap of trouble with the optin emails not going out. Not that this will be of benefit to you particularly, but its frustrating all the same because many people require at least some guidance.

I’ll sort the buy now buttons myself today, but I’ll need some help with the affiliate thing you spoke about previously. I’ll keep you updated as progress is made with that.

Sorry about that Ben! I guess if you are working your butt off in a j o b then you may not have too much available time to focus in on a variety of IM stuff. Nevertheless, there will be other products coming along – although I’m working hard on the current one and its taking rather a lot of my time. I really need to make good in-roads with this one before approaching anyone else. If good progress is made with the current product, it makes it all the easier to gain the snowball effect where other products are concerned. In other words, the better rep I get for what I do here, the more will land on my plate to pick and choose from, which can only but benefit everyone who wishes to be a part of that in future.

I’ll certainly keep my eyes open and I look forward to your future products mate :)

Michael Carabini May 12, 2011 at 8:20 am

……December 2 2008 by ……The best affiliate products are those products that are being bought by thousands of buyers. Even if they try to sell the best affiliate product available on the internet still they will not be able to sell those hot products…There are at least two important reasons that are overlooked by most of the affiliates while marketing the affiliate products including the best affiliate products that are easy to sell too.

Joseph May 12, 2011 at 10:36 am

How do you determine what are the best affiliate products though Michael – is it those that are grabbed by the most affiliates because the name of the product owner is popular in internet marketing circles or something like that? There is no doubt that very many products which are top notch in many respects never become popular as affiliate products because they simply slip through the “net”.

Thanks for your thoughts.
