Interesting title right? After all, who would have thought that link building for SEO purposes would have been described as a “delicate” operation?
Me!
I do, and I have good reason for doing so.
As many of us SEO’ers and internet marketers know well, Google does not like us to “throw” links at our websites, particularly if they are relatively new and don’t have any “clout”, so to speak. After all, how would you treat a new-born child? Similar thing here, in some respects – gently does it!
As we possibly know by now, getting good quality links back to our sites while at the same time making things appear entirely natural for Google to allow us to rank better, is not necessarily an easy process.
It may “seem” easy, but when we really get down to it, it can indeed pose quite a few questions that we eventually find out we do not necessarily have the answers for. For instance, how can you guarantee its a quality backlink you are getting? Further, how often have you taken the time to write a really good blog commment only to find that its a no-follow blog? More and more these days, due to the amount of spam commenting!
Article directories for sure – may take a lot of 400 word articles to get at least some good quality links in return, and not everyone is gifted in writing, nor do they have either the motivation for it themselves or the cash to employ someone else to do it for them.
Social bookmarking sites? Yup, this is indeed a good option. But too many of those and you will see your own site dimish in the rankings after being penalized for the “wrong” type of links. Its my impression that Google is not so keen as it once was on social bookmark-type backlinks due to the amount of abuse the “system” has had over the past couple of years.
Used slowly but surely, with other types of backlinks and yes, social bookmarking is still a thoroughly valid and workable method to employ.
However, if you wish to add to this – add some really good quality, respectable backlinks to your site, with what in comparison to most authentic white-hat methods for attaining quality backlinks takes the minimum of effort, then you may wish to consider another way forward.
And this way forward is called LinkVana (5 day free trial on that link!). Linkvana or LV is a software that was designed by the very highly respected SEO expert Dave Kelly and his team. When it comes to SEO, Dave Kelly is fairly much the man to ask! He knows even more than I do, so he must be good! haha!
I’m wondering if this sounds like a sales letter – sorry, its not supposed to!
Rather than me wading through what LV is and what it is not, I shall just “borrow” some of the content from the LV site itself for your own perusal.

There’s more besides but this is a decent overview of the product.
I use it, but have not used it long enough to give it a whole-hearted thumbs up. Its a nice product to use – easy, simple to create little 100 word snippets and pop a link in there. And I feel that its no doubt going to be a quality link, but I shall not, as mentioned, give the full 100% benefit of any doubt right now, until I have used LV for some time longer.
The LinkVana (5 day free trial on that link!) software is far from cheap, and for good reason too. It costs $147 per month. Yes, I’m paying for it, and I will in due course get back to you with my own experiences of using the product.
