90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge: Week 10 by Oscar Del Ben

So I’ve missed last week’s update. I was out with my gf and I when I came back it was too late. Anyway, it’s time for another update, and this time I need your feedback.

My get-better-grades is going nowhere. Apparently Google wasn’t liking it and it’s now sandboxed again (I did nothing weird this time). I’m now giving up on this though, as even when it was ranking and receiving traffic from Google, it wasn’t making impressions on the product page. I think it’s better for me to concentrate on what actually works!

I’ve started to build backlinks for a website I had which started to make me some money after I put an ad in August. So far I’m ranking nicely but no sales in September.

My Market Samurai review page is acting weird. One day I’m in the third position, the other one I’m 19. I don’t know why Google is still dancing around, but at least I made one sale. It’s a good product and it converts well.

So far I’m only using Blog Blueprint for ranking my websites. In my little experience it works very well, but you can’t really get on the first position for competitive keywords, there’s still something missing. I’m perfectly fine with it though, and the money I pay for it is nothing compared to the benefits I receive.

Now I have a question for you: what do you think is the best way to rank for a competitive keyword? Quality guest posts? Social media websites? I want to know, and then to test. Thanks in advance!

90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge: Week 8 by Oscar Del Ben

Here we go with another update on my internet marketing experiment. There’s nothing new about the process at this point, so if you are new here you should probably read my other updates if you want to know exactly what I do on a daily basis.

I finally dumped my website about solar panels. My friend will probably continue to work on it but I decided to concentrate exclusively on the websites that I care about.

One of those websites, ruby regex is also making me some sales. To be honest with you I built that website more than one year ago, but after starting this experiment I decided to put an ad and rank it on google, and I think it was definitely a good idea. My market samurai page is also making some sales every once in a while, which is nice considering the high commission.

One thing that I’m going to try from now on is to be active on social media websites and try to brand those websites. This is something that is only possible to do if you care about what you’re selling, and I definitely do.

90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge: Week 7 by Oscar Del Ben

Now over half way into the 90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge, and not much to report, really.
.
This week I continued to build backlinks for my websites. My rankings are also now pretty stable, and with two out of three of my websites I’ve reached my goal of ranking in the top 5 for at least one main keyword.

.

This would be a boring update if it wasn’t for merely one thing. That is that my experiment of comparing Blog Blueprint with Unique Article Wizard is showing good results. So far none of my websites promoted with Unique Article Wizard are ranking for the main keyword, instead the one website that I promoted with Blog Blueprint is ranking at a nice 5th position. At this point I may conclude the experiment earlier and save the money.

This gives me the motivation to continue working on this stuff. Thanks for following this experiment so far, and thanks Joseph for inspiring me!

90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge: Week 6 by Oscar Del Ben

Here we go with my new update on my internet marketing challenge. This week has been a bit low of sales, even though I’ve seen some improvements in my rankings for.

What I’ve done this week

This week we created a new website – “build solar panels” which is targeting some heavy keywords. It’ll not be easy to rank for that keyword, but with time we hope to see some good results. The strategy is always the same: link building through Blog Blueprint and Unique Article Wizard.

So far the website is not ranking, but we’ll see in the following weeks what will happen. For the other websites I continued to build backlinks. Here are the overall rankings so far:

90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge: Week 5 by Oscar Del Ben

It’s time for another update on my 90 day internet marketing challenge. This week I was busy because I moved to Madrid but I still managed to work on my internet marketing stuff. I’m really happy about the results so far.

Last week I mentioned that I was considering entering a new niche, and we finally bought the domain and began our work. I say we because we’re now a team of three. We only work for a few hours each week but this way I can still get other stuff done. Once we will be making enough money we will probably outsource most tasks so that we can focus on the higher picture.

90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge: Week 4 by Oscar Del Ben

Hello everyone, it’s time for me to give a new update on my internet marketing experiment. I’ve spent last week out of town without my computer and so I couldn’t work on my internet marketing stuff. For that reason, today I’m only going to talk about overall rankings and my intentions for the future (more exciting stuff!).

My Market Samurai page is suffering from some Google dance apparently. Two days ago and yesterday I was ranking 2nd for the keyword “market samurai review”, but today it’s showing up in the 9th position. Despite that, I’m finally ranking 7th for “market samurai”, and I’ve been maintaining this ranking for a few days. I suspect that as I’ll start building more back-links this week my overall ranking will increase again.
