Interview with George Palmer Creator of DigitalDeliveryApp.com an Alternative to Clickbank!

Digital Delivery App Benefits 153x300 Interview with George Palmer Creator of DigitalDeliveryApp.com an Alternative to Clickbank!(If you still are having problems seeing the posts on the homepage, do let me know thanks. I’m currently deactivating plugins to try to figure out the issue).

I was fortunate enough to be able to spend some time discussing with George Palmer his relatively recent creation – Digital Deliver App. To put things in some perspective here about what this product actually does – it can be used an alternative to the likes of Clickbank, eJunkie, PayDotCom to name but three of the bigger information and software product delivery sites, or indeed it can be used in addition to those sites to enhance the user experience (by a digital mile!).

Now, to be honest, I’m always a bit hesitant when looking into product delivery. I had a terrible time setting up the Warriors Special Offer for my first product – the Warrior Forum 40 Day Challenge. And then, more recently, I had all sorts of issues when I then moved the eBook over to Clickbank. This is not the first time I’ve tried to use Clickbank as a vendor actually – the first time I gave up in frustration. And I’ve also tried eJunkie quite some time ago, but found that too has its own set of complex issues to work around (it may have improved since…).

How to Add a Product to Clickbank Marketplace Video 2 (of 3)

Here is the second in the series of three gripping videos about adding your product to Clickbank marketplace. (Video 1 can be seen here).

The points covered here include:

4. Complete “My Site” information within Your Clickbank account

   – add a Hoplink URL (usually to your pitch page (sales page))
   – enter your marketplace information for your product

.
5. Complete the “My Products” info within your Clickbank account

 .

Sorry that I’m somewhat “mouse happy”. I’ve got the habit of flying around the page with the mouse spitting out fire due to the velocity its travelling, lol! I’ll try to calm that down in future videos.

In the meantime, sit back, relax and prepare to be spellbound (the video lasts 6mins 28 seconds)…

How to Add A Product to Clickbank Marketplace Video 1

In this video I cover the following points:

1. sign up for a Clickbank account if you have not already done so

2. creation of a pitch page (sales page) and creation of the thankyou page

3. making of the payment link

.

You’ve got a potentially great information (or software) product. You want to maximize sales via online advertising and what better way to go than via Clickbank? After all, Clickbank offer by far the strongest affiliate set up – you add your product to Clickbank and it can possibly go viral within days simply due to the number of affiliate sales that are being made, while you sit back and enjoy your newly-found income.

But after you’ve generated the product either by creating it all yourself or by outsourcing via the likes of oDesk or Elance for example, the next action to take is to then upload the product onto Clickbank.

Yes, this may seem easy at first glance. Clickbank provide extensive information on how to upload your product and benefit from doing so. But what I found when uploading my first information product was that the Clickbank how-to’s are difficult to follow. I found myself time and time again becoming confused and then frustrated by trying to follow along with the Clickbank guides. And what’s further, Clickbank support vary in their response times. I found my questions were answered somewhere between 2 and 5 days after I emailed support. And on a couple of occasions I received no response at all.

And due to the somewhat incomprehensive online guides they provide and their slow (or no) response times, I thought it a good idea to go forth and fill what appears to be something of a gap by adding my own guides (totally free, of course) on how to get your first product onto Clickbank. Plus, Delena mentioned in a reply on one of my blog posts that it would be a good idea to set something up as a help guide, so here it is!

I’ll actually be utilizing Clickbank’s own guidance for quite a lot of the actual framework. After all, they are the experts – its just that their information could be far more clearly put across to us. And by all means if you have further questions that are not answered in my video series, either leave a comment on the blog here, or email me. I’ll do my best to answer. I’m still very much a novice at this whole process myself, but that’s a good thing. I’ll have to cover the simplest of points so that I too can improve upon my understanding, rather than me coming across as a know-it-all, which is very far from the truth!

With that said, let’s get started.

Here’s the video I made up on YouTube…

How to Add a Product on to Clickbank Video Series

clickbankimage How to Add a Product on to Clickbank Video SeriesYou’ll no doubt be aware that Clickbank have (and for very obvious reasons…) already created a series of guides on adding a product to their database so you may be wondering why the heck am I now “re-creating” that guide. Surely my guide is not going to be nearly as comprehensive as theirs, is it?

Well, I recently added my own product to Clickbank and found that the Clickbank guides are very difficult to follow.

Yes, I have admitted before and will admit to you again, I am not much of a technically gifted person. For sure I know how to set up a WordPress blog from buying domain name to setting up the site online and I can do that within 25 minutes time and time again. But at the beginning when I was first learning the ropes it took me around 4 days solid to get a single WordPress site up and running online, and a whole mass of emailing my webhosting support besides!

And when it comes to hard coding on a blog, I get fed up and frustrated within minutes. I’m not at all “naturally” gifted in that department, simple as that.

But, I suspect there are very many of you who suffer from the same issues that I do, and there are very many of you who also freak at the mere thought of adding your own product onto Clickbank, just as I myself did and have done for years, literally.

Hence the point of this series of guides I’m going to focus on over the coming weeks.

My intentions are to create a thoroughly comprehensive guide which will cover from start to finish how to add your own product – be that an information product such as an eBook or some sort of software – onto Clickbank. And I will be creating a set of Camtasia style videos too just to make it all the more simple to follow.

I’ve now managed to struggle through this process of adding my own product onto Clickbank one time – it took me almost 3 weeks to complete, and although I do not currently have another product to add to Clickbank I’ll endeavour to go through the exact same process so that if you ever have the desire to add your own product to the Clickbank database, it takes you merely a few days (it takes 3 to 7 days to get the go-ahead from the Clickbank support staff) and not a few weeks to do the same.

What is wrong with the Clickbank guides, which are thoroughly extensive?

Well, I found them to be exhausting – mainly because I could not locate the relevant information. There are so many guides that I did not know which one would tackle which problem that I faced – and I did face a number of difficulties and had little idea how to overcome those and therefore progress to the next step. There’s the main problem that I found – the Clickbank guides are not really step by step. Its like a bit here and a bit there and I was guessing as to which bit came next in the sequence.

No doubt there are other guides online about how to successfully complete this process and very possibly some of those are free also. This is just my own take on the process and I will try to make it as simple and easy to follow as I can.

So if you are interested in learning this process for yourself (now or in future) but are not too keen to utilize (fumble through) the Clickbank guides, then you’ll have a ready-made resource here on this blog which you can use time and time again.

The first video should be coming soon (ish)… I’ve just purchased a microphone (the one I had in Kuching was not up to the job by a long way) taking Rob Cornish’s advice, so will need to figure out the use of that to begin with. It looks like one of those really old fashioned mics that they used to use for radio broadcasts about 60 years ago, lol!

Okay, I’ll be working on the first of the series today so fingers crossed all goes well and its smooth saling (for once!).
