How to Make Money on eBay – Part 3

how to make money through eBay 300x124 How to Make Money on eBay Part 3Quick word on something topical at the moment – closure of AdSense accounts.

As many of you probably know, Spencer Haws of www.nichepursuits.com had all his AdSense accounts unceremoniously “dumped” by Google AdSense.

For what reason – well, that’s entirely open to speculation.

This is not the first time for a big player in the AdSense game to have all his (or her) accounts banned. Spencer was earning upwards of $15k a month on AdSense alone (that’s my presumption anyhow – I know he was earning a serious amount of money, but I’m not sure the exact amount).

I think it particularly important for anyone who is focused purely on AdSense income to rethink this strategy right now! (I’m certainly not implying that Spencer was solely focused on AdSense income – it was a large part of his portfolio).

Spread your eggs around – don’t rely on a single income source no matter how much you are making from it.

If you focus on one monetization method, you are asking for problems down the road way.

Do not take the risk!

How to Make Money on eBay – Part 2

ebay 2 How to Make Money on eBay Part 2On to part two of the How to Make Money on eBay adventure.

Part 1 can be found out here.

Part 3 is here.

Please keep in mind that I’m trying to ensure this information is very easy to understand for anyone – from the greenest of newbees – folks who are new to all this talk about Google rankings. Hence I’ll discuss things in plain English almost all the time and any SEO type terms I’ll try to explain as I go along if that’s necessary for further clarity.

This is the easy part. There’s no aspect to this whole kaboodle that’s difficult. Although it may be tricky to source a product or product line that you can sell at a profit. Once that’s been decided, its all pretty much plain saling, believe it or not.

Fact of the matter is, my intentions are to aim this guide at people who have already sourced their product, and who are already selling on eBay, and want many more people to see their offerings. But this information is for anyone who has a healthy interest in making money with eBay regardless you’re already a seller or not.

So, the question is, how do we achieve the increased traffic to our eBay store by going out-with the boundaries of eBay’s search traffic alone? (i.e. the folks who are already on eBay and use eBay’s search system to locate products they are interested in).

What we do is to put our trust in Google and try to achieve rankings for relevant keywords that pertain to what we are trying to sell.

Let’s take an example here.

Say we want to sell coffee tables.

We decide to focus in (or “niche-down”) on “lift top coffee table” which has 4,400 global search volume in Google each month, and 3,600 local to US search each month.

However, there’s so much good information similar to what I’m about to share with you (Steve Scot regularly discusses money making ideas similar to this one) that it makes sense to post this up on my blog and thereby make it freely available to everyone who cares to read it.

There’s far too much info here for a single post, so I’ll make it into a series of posts. Even if you have no intention of following through with these techniques, it still makes for an educational read, and the info here can be related to other techniques whereby you surely can make an impressive income if you so wish it.

The beauty of this technique is that its simple. So simple in fact that someone who is new to the SEO game and achieving Google rankings could gain success.

Could the technique I’m about to discuss with you have life-changing consequences?

Well, yes, I guess so.

Unique Article Wizard Rises Again and is Google Re-Assessing Non-Unique Content?

Unique Article Wizard Unique Article Wizard Rises Again and is Google Re Assessing Non Unique Content?I just read a post about Unique Article Wizard (UAW). They’ve been adding a lot of new sites to their network – post the Google Panda algorithm change. Many of the replies on this particular post are saying good things about UAW, and no doubt it will just get better as they add more and more to their blog network (sites where UAW subscribers have their articles posted to).

I have been a long-time fan of UAW, and have used it on and off over the past two and a half years, with fairly good success too (I used it extensively during the Warrior Forum 40 Day Challenge). My main concern would be that there are now a number of other services out there that work in a similar fashion but not only do they offer up far more sites within their own network, but their pricing is more competitive to that of UAW (currently $67 per month). To name but two of those services:

Distribute Your Articles:  one month costs 50 bucks; the three month package costs 100 bucks; the yearly subscription costs 250 bucks. The number of sites used to submit to currently number at over 10k! I can’t say that you’ll be successful at submitting to all of those as I have not actually used this service myself – I heard about it via a thoroughly trusted source, hence the service is on my recommended list.

Article Marketing Robot: this service is a one-off payment and allows you access to well over 7k sites (and growing rapidly) on its network. I have used this service and I know other folks who continue to use it regularly and say great things about it (yes, you Christopher). Again, don’t expect to see your submissions to every site on the network as successful, but even if you see a third success rate, its a whole lot of potential backlinks!
I’m very tempted to join in the discussion about UAW, but you know the score – if there is one “bad apple” who points out a weakness about a service, then that “bad apple” is very often despised and shot down for their comments. Nevertheless, why should it put me off when I’m merely speaking my mind and spelling out the truth of the matter?

Joseph Archibald’s Internet Marketing Income for December 2010

1316804 89412241 300x199 Joseph Archibalds Internet Marketing Income for December 2010Here we are once more – stats and facts re the previous months income made up entirely from internet marketing endeavours!

You would expect December to be a “flying” month for sales – what with Christmas being a super time for folks to be buying up left, right and center, but I can’t say my own Christmas “type” sales have been wonderous. I remember back to Novemver and December of last year and it was really good, but not quite on par this year – and most certainly not last month, when Christmas sales did not really pick up at all, oddly enough.

Mind you, if you check out my Amazon affiliate stats down below, I have to come clean on this – Christmas sales really DID pick up here duing December! But I’ve not got many Amazon affiliate sites any longer, so my own Amazon income is never going to be high.

Nevertheless, no complaints from me icon wink Joseph Archibalds Internet Marketing Income for December 2010

No site flips for me during December. I don’t have any sites that I would wish to sell right now, and I do believe that December is not the month to be selling websites anyhow.

Let’s cut to it!

Progress Update on Christmas Eve 2010

I’m now intent on setting a program up where I now live in Kuching, Malaysia, which will be along the lines of helping local people to work online to see a good income, given time and given perseverance. Even a mere couple of hundred dollars a month is good income for some folks here, if on a part time basis then that’s a real nice boost to a salary which may only be $200 a month for full time work anyways.
.
Imagine being able to double your income just by doing a few hours work a week.

For sure its possible I’m in the process of biting off more than I can chew. But at the same time there is the old saying “strike while the iron is hot!”. My intentions are good – I need to do this!
I approached Cyril Dason who is the front man of Sarwak Bloggers (an immesely capable and highly motivated and enthusiastic guy he is too! If I had a staff and needed a social media rep, then I would be strongly considering Cyril to do that job for me!) and I asked if it may be possible to gain some government funding, or some local company funding.
.
After all, this is going to benefit the local community so why not expect to see a support network coming from either local companies or the government? Why should it be up to me to invest all my own funds to see the betterment of the Kuching community at large? Am I not doing enough already by offering a huge amount of my time over the next year to hopefully ensure the success of those that are involved in this initiative?
.
I would have no issues in investing my own money in this. I just don’t have money enough to invest right now. But even if no backers come forth, I am thoroughly intent on going forward with this. After all, regular readers on this blog know full well that I am a headstrong, very stubborn, forward moving sorta bloke, don’t you?;-) And I intend very much to utilize those traits in this case too!
.
Maybe I should get more involved in politics. But no. I remember to some extent what was said to Tim Ferris (of “4 Hour Work Week” fame) by one of his friends who is an eminenent Doctor and more besides. When Tim mentioned to her that he would really like to pursue his doctorate and thus become a medical doctor on graduation, she said to him in return (after both parties had consumed wine to a copious degree) (sorry, I can’t quote exact words but I’ll try my best…) “Tim, I admire you for wanting to become a doctor, but you would be best served as remaining a “dark knight” so you can spread the word freely without having to worry about your own reputation being tarnished as a medical doctor”.
.
I am no Tim Ferris, as much as I admire the man! But I am motivated to do what I can to help some people to gain more control over their level of income and thus hopefully this will improve their standards of living.
.
I know for a fact that if someone had knocked on my door in days gone by and asked me would I be interested in learning how to make a very good living online with little investment involved, I would have well and truly jumped at the chance and my excitement levels would have been to sky high!!
.
I’m no politician anyhow, so that job would be out for me!
Okay, that’s enough on that subject – I don’t want to bore you all to tears, lol!
.
.
Progress with Kevin?
