No Begging to Join this Affiliate Program! | Top Pharmacy Affiliate Program

Medical Affiliate Programs No Begging to Join this Affiliate Program! | Top Pharmacy Affiliate ProgramIts not often that you get asked by an affiliate manager to work with them, so I thought I would make a blog post about this for two reasons:

1. to let you know about what looks to be a pretty cool health niche affiliate program – payouts are very good, ranging from 20% to 50%!

2. to gloat a bit icon wink No Begging to Join this Affiliate Program! | Top Pharmacy Affiliate Program

I bet you too, as an affiliate, have felt like you are kinda begging to get on some affiliate programs. If not as of yet, then have a go with eBay Partner Network and you’ll soon see exactly what I mean by “begging”!

But its not just with eBay that you feel that you are having to enter the grovel grovel mode. Often on Commission Junction I’ve felt the same there too, and it puts me off applying for almost everything on CJ.

Why do I feel like I’m having to jump through hoops when I’m doing THEM a favour by offering to sell their product range? Often these programs will take days to reply to your humble application to join up with them, and when they finally do, you get told rather blatantly something along the lines of…

Sorry, your site does not meet our requirements (because you only receive 1,000 unique visitors a month and we accept affiliates with only 10 MILLION (yes, that’s 10,000,000!!) site visitors and above per month! Now go back to mommy and let us focus on real people who are worthy of our time and not on whipper-snappers who don’t know anything about true affiliate marketing“).

.

Well, okay, this is getting carried away a bit, but don’t you sometimes feel that this is what the affiliate managers are thinking when they reply to you upon your application to join their programs?

The other affiliate companies (other than Commission Junction and eBay Partners) don’t seem so bad really, but that probably depends on the actual program that you are intent on applying to. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a problem being accepted on to any program on LinkShare or Share-a-Sale. Although, having said that, I have not applied for too many.

In this particular case, I was emailed by the affiliate manager asking if I would be interested in joining up to the MedsPartners program. And although at first I was thinking that I’m way too busy right now with other stuff going on, plus I’m trying to figure in more of the 4-Hour-Work Week ideology (Tim Ferriss) and cut down on my current 100 hour working weeks (which I have succeeded in doing – I now work 98 hour weeks, LOL!).

However, I thought it through and decided to take a different angle than I usually would have done. And that is the basis for this post.

All ego stuff (and jokes) aside, if you are interested in working as an affiliate in the medical field (or in this case – pharmacy may be more appropriate), then you should have a look at this program. Here are some of the details I received from Mr Anthony Harris, one of the aff managers of the company I’m currently discussing.

- A reliable and trusted pharmacy program, not dealing with controlled meds like some other programs do.

- A user friendly and professional system: including a top notch site builder.

- Host sites on your own servers (so you could do some serious editing to it).

- Flexible payment….you choose when to get your money and how.

- 20%-50% revenue share commissions (among the highest in the industry!).

- Multi-lingual system, sites available in 11 different languages with matching currencies.

- Each month we are giving out generous bonuses for high performance.

- Program offers 5 tiers of affiliation.

.
And if this looks enticing, then do be sure to check out more details on the actual website which is here MedsPartners.com

If you do sign up and you do find that you have any issues and support is not forthcoming (I hear support is very responsive), then do by all means get in touch with me and I’ll contact Anthony Harris for you. How’s that for a back-up service!

Oh boy this post is music to my ears. Commission Junction sometimes makes me pull my hair out. Not only do you get declined for a ton of great programs at the beginning when you sign up but it is also a hassle to track down your sales to see which products are selling and which ones are not. At least it’s like that with me

Joseph March 26, 2011 at 6:31 am

Well, so far Chris, its only the one affiliate manager I have on my side here (thank you Anthony Harris!). Although I do get a number of more general emails than was Anthony’s about a number of good looking programs that are out there.

But who knows, over time you may see other aff managers coming on over and doing exactly the same – actually “courting” the webmaster and asking them for help to promote their programs, rather than the webmaster/mistress having to beg to get accepted onto a particular program.

Its reasonably obvious why they do that – to some extent anyway – cut down on the time wasters who never make any effort to make any sales. But for folks who visit this blog for starters – such as your good and VERY hard working self – its a one glove fits all scenario – if you don’t have a big website with a ton of regular visitors, then you are treated as second class and not worthy of attention. And in my opinion (which is no longer humble, I may add!) this is quite the wrong approach to be made!

I’m on the side of the “little” man and woman – today’s “little” men and women are tomorrows heros! Its time this somewhat backwards thinking were thoroughly re-assessed!

I never see you on skype Joseph lol. I was going to tell you about an odd thing going on with my rankings in google with one of my sites. I have not touched the site in months and now its moved from page twenty in google and now sitting on page 4 and 5 in the past few weeks. I am thinking about tossing it up on flippa for sale. It is a relationship site that I don’t really enjoy writing content for. Just seems odd that rank improved when I left it alone.

Joseph March 29, 2011 at 3:05 am

Haha Matt – I am on Skype a lot actually but I choose to go invisible man unless I’m on a call or something. I’ve just gone on now so if you are still around, do by all means fire up Skype.

Yes, I remember you telling me about setting up the relationship site months ago. And fact is (at least for me, and apparently for you too) if you are not really interested in the niche/sub niche, it can soon enough become a real bind to “have to” write content for it. I think one thing that would keep me writing for a relationship site is that I enjoy interacting with… hmmm… best I don’t say in case my girlfriend reads this ;-) . Honey – its just a joke, so calm down and don’t be silly!

Sounds like Google have re-ranked your site in a very positive manner due to the recent algorithm changes. Obviously what you have done so far on the site pleases them enough to point your site in the right direction within their rankings. No doubting that if you did manage to continue to eek out content for it, you would in time gain a whole heap of long tail rankings, which would in turn potentially earn you some (or a lot) hard-earned greenbacks for your efforts Matt!

A very quick “story”. I have an online acquaintance who came to me whilst I was writing up the Warriors 40 day thing. He’d spent all his money on getting a dating site up and running (thousands of dollars worth) but had left nothing to invest in the gaining of visitors to the site (sounds very typical indeed!). Anyhow, he asked me to help out a bit – at least in terms of providing advice. I did so, and lo and behold – many months later he sold a 50% share of the site for a very tidy sum indeed because he was now seeing some very good rankings in Google for some heftily searched for terms (Asian ladies market). Goes to show that there is real potential for this type of website Matt!

On the other hand, I suspect a relationship site would do well on Flippa or such like. Its your call here Matt and I wish you well whichever route you decide on!

Cheers!
Joseph

They are selling viagra Tom, lol! Look a little closer when you’ve finished off your challenge.

Tom March 31, 2011 at 6:26 pm

Yeah, not sure if those fit into any of my sites at the moment… haha… well maybe the ones geared toward mechanics and such. You’re not buying buckets of them for yourself and pocketing the affiliate income are you? :-)

Hmmm… good idea Tom! That way I can claim in my next income report on the blog here that I made OOOOOODLES of cash flow from March, whilst being thoroughly high on all sorts of over-the-counter drugs ;-)

Hello
I am not sure you may see this or not, but I hope so, and hope you could email me back.
I am also looking for a good rx affiliate program, many people said that MedsPartners.com is a good one, but as i check, this domain already died while another simliar domain MedsPartners.org is running. so here is the qurstion: if a company runs well, how can they get their domain deleted? and MedsPartners.org belong to the same company?
thanks

Joseph December 25, 2011 at 2:19 am

Hi Jacky, in all honesty I’m afraid I don’t know. I checked medpartners.com on Whois but there’s no information to be had there. Maybe if you contact medpartners.org they’ll let you know if they are indeed the smae company as medpartners.com

thank you for your reply.

so Joseph,

are you doing any rx program and do you have any suggestion?

I spent a few days to find one but seems diffcult. too many scam.

someone suggest 4rx, it also died.

Joseph December 25, 2011 at 2:57 am

Hi Jacky, you are welcome!

RX programs are whereby the pharma companies provide free medication to folks who cannot afford them? I don’t do any affiliation for such business, no Jacky. If many of these programs are dying out, that would give me cause for concern. You’d not want to go and build a super website only to find that all your offers are now defunct.

Sorry I can’t be of more help here Jacky.
Joseph
