1. Have you been struggling to find good affiliate products to sell?
2. Have you been struggling to make sales of those affiliate products you did find already?
3. Are you looking to find a product range that has not been jumped on by another two thousand affiliate marketers before you?
Well guess what, I’ve got the solution for you and its coming soon!
Here is the concept:
It will be my job to find and assess products (tangible as opposed to digital) that are little known (if known at all) to the internet marketing bunch (that’s me, you and the half million others out there).
I’ll assess each product for potential marketability – in other words, is there too much online competition already or is the market wide open for us to dominate and thus make good affiliate sales?
If the competition is found to be too strong then its a no go! If the market is wide open, then its a green light and full steam ahead! I will also provide a personal account for those products that pass my initial tests as to how I would go about marketing the product myself:
.
a. would I target long tailed keyword phrases, and what may some of those long tails be? I’ll provide a list of them for you to use at your leisure.
b. what short tail keywords offer potential to us internet marketers in that they are not too highly competitive? Should I find none, I will make that clear to you. You are free to go ahead and do your own research at your leisure.
c. I will even offer a base idea of how to go about setting up your own webpage to help gain sales. Again, you will be free to use this advice, or to go it alone.
d. I will ensure there is a source of graphics that you can use for your campaigns.
e. I will try to negotiate with the product seller a good/great affiliate commission deal for you!
So, really all you need to do is:
i) visit my blog here when there is a new product added (this information will be made available only via an optin for subscribers (coming soon) – and the only thing that will be discussed via this optin is my “private” product list and how to improve chances of making sales, and thus commissions for yourself)
ii) you need to consider if the product is attractive enough for you to want to focus your efforts on
iii) you then need to join the vendors affiliate program (I will ensure there is none of this “you have to have more than 10 million unique visitors per month to your site before we will even consider you to be an affiliate for us” nonsense)
iv) create your affiliate links from within your affiliate account
v) choose the images you want to use from your affiliate account
vi) set up your basic webpage/s
vii) do some SEO work (many of the best tools of the trade are already listed in my Resources Page (link tab at the top of my blog) and I will be adding more, as more come on the market) and/or social media communications
…and hopefully you’ll then see some sales of your own and thus cash in on your efforts. And yes, this can for sure be set and forget, and thus very much will be passive income for you.
You are free to use the information I provide to get you ahead, or you can research for yourself.
If you know about me already, you know full well that I am on your side and you are not alone! What’s more however, I will be helping you to help me and we’ll also be helping the product creator (and of course – the potential shopper to find the ideal product for their needs). Do you have any doubt that this scenario is a WINNER for everyone invovled?
Furthermore, I shall be endeavoring to place an emphasis on products that are suitable for what is referred to as the “desperate market” which is ideally suited to making more sales. Thus, as a potential example here: those who suffer from back pain who have tried “everything” but nothing works to alleviate the pain and they cannot get a good night’s sleep. Along comes a little known-about solution which is the perfect product to allow sleep with little to no discomfort for those who suffer from regular back pain.
.
Now, there are quite a number of technicalities here, and as you probably know, I am not a technical sort of a guy (actually, I’m fairly tech dumb!). There could be a few issues to iron out in the early days, and no doubting that “the system” will evolve from its earlier attempts. I’ll find better ways of doing this whole thing as time passes by, so do bare with me if there are any glitches early on. Let’s try to work together.
In the meantime, I have the first product lined up and just about ready to go. In fact, for this one I’m going to be doing a case study whereby I’ll utilize a couple of SEO tools to focus in on some keyword phrases that I feel are going to be good to get the sales started up. You can sit back and watch how I do it, and then you can base your own work on what I do, or you can utilize your own set of tools and your own SEO (or social media) knowledge to push your own sales forward in future.
What can you hope to earn from each sale of this particular tangible product? 20% affiliate commission will come your way – that’s above and beyond your Amazon dot coms and your eBay affiliate stuff by a country mile!! For the base model of this product, which has a price tag of $100, you get $20 US per sale (minus PayDotCom fees, which will be 1.5% of the product selling price ($1.50 in this case), if my understanding is correct). I’ll let you do the math with what’s possible here with regards to income!
.
Hey, if you can’t see the huge potential of this for yourself then you need to go get yourself a coffee and come back and re-read this post, over and over if need be! By all means bookmark this page! I’m excited even writing this up. The first of what will be many products to come is already in line and we are working on the website as I speak (I’ve hired a high end technical writer to create the script).
Its going to take me a short while to get everything in place, but I thought I would let you in on “the secret” of what’s going on behind the scenes.
I know only too well what it is like to struggle as an internet marketer – not knowing which products to choose, not knowing how to research their online potential for sales, finding good products but they are already being dominated by high end affiliates who have pretty much cornered the market already which leaves only the scraps for us “little” folks. Well, its my desire to change this and put the odds much more in OUR favour!
The first product in line for us is – as already mentioned – well and truly underway in terms of being ready for us to shoot for the stars. Further products will take more time as I still have some grafting to do and a lot of emails and Skype chats to undergo. I’ll get there though, so be sure to watch out for new products in the coming months.
I don’t want to unleash stuff that I personally feel would have little potential for us internet marketers, so its very wise that I thoroughly scrutinize and quality control each and every offering to the utmost. I’m sure you agree that this is a wise measure to take!
More information will be available on this blog (and only on this blog) soon!
And the cost to you? Nada, nil, zip – its FREE! We all win out together and there are no hidden costs or nothing like that!
So on that note, here is to OUR success!
Thoughts and comments are thoroughly welcomed!

Hi Joseph,
Very interested in seeing what you dig up. However, I am also curious if these will stay as lucrative niches if all of your blog visitors jump on them. I’ll still be watching with great interest.
– Matt
Hey Matt, I don’t actually get that many blog visitors, believe it or not. Thus, and at least for now, the info I provide will be well and truly open for anyone who wishes to get involved to really get ahead and make some sales. Should this become very popular (and there is no reason why it should not) then I’ll be sure to up the ante and move into a new gear – tap into more good offerings which will suit internet marketing and are deserved of more attention from potential customers. But for now and probably for the first few months at least, I imagine it to be a relatively easy scoop for those who have the desire.
Regards
Joseph
First step to make popularity of new product give quality to customer don’t hide anything about product give difference type of offer on product everything explain very clearly in this post which is very great for sales view.
Sam @ Weekend Getaways recently posted..Summer Holiday Packages
Hi Sam, at the end of the day that will be up to each affiliate (I have made this first product offer available to everyone and its not limited to how popular your website or how big a name you have within the internet marketing arena), but I shall try to be as helpful as I can in providing guidance so everyone feels comfortable with what they are trying to achieve and how they are trying to achieve it – namely, entice a potential customer to purchase via your link!
With the first product, there is a $99.95 option, and there is an upgraded $129.95 second option, thus in a sense two different products to market (potentially to two different client groups(?)).
More details to come soon!

Joseph,
Sounds interesting, can’t wait to see what you have came up with.
On another note though…. now I am definitely getting my blog fixed up… some of the boys at girls at WF felt threatened and closed my challenge thread…
Seems I am doing something right.

Great stuff Joseph – I like it!
The case study is a great idea too. Any ETA for this? No pressure
Cheers,
Rob.

Tom – what you mean – some of the gods at Warriors felt threatened and closed your thread? In what way did they claim that you transgressed their rights? Seems that all the powers to be these days are overly flexing their mighty muscles and often wielding the sword in the wrong direction.
Very sorry to hear about that!
Sorry Rob – its still fairly early here and I had a terrible night with very little sleep (cats, cockerels, dogs, music, cuddly toy, surround sound television…) – what is ETA? I thought it was a nationalist/terrorist group in Spain? In which case, there will be no ETA I’m afraid. I’m Scottish, not Spanish and the Scots’ days for terrorism are well and truly over.
Thank you kindly for your suggestion however.
Jo
Joseph,
Yes, I think that me suggesting that people use the niche method to get a head start and then move away from it wasn’t too their liking. Could be also that I did not pay for their membership fee.
The response I got was that my thread was being bumped too much every day… which is nonsense since I only responded about 3 times per week.
I think it was a good thing though as my strategy has improved and the next round will be a bit more organized.
Will e-mail you soon about some other things…
Take care,
Tom
Tom recently posted..A Must Have Free WordPress Plug-in
Non-payment of the membership fee Tom. I don’t suppose there is anything in their T’s & C’s about that – but maybe its an unwritten rule they have. The argument about bumping the thread too often is, as you say, a nonsense! I bumped my thread 8 to 10 times a day over the 6 week period, simply replying to comments made.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Jo
Looking forward to this information – as a new born (not born again) fledgling affiliate marketer, who is just learning which way is up, your case study will be very interesting.
If you keep on supplying high value content then your blog visitor numbers will definitely increase, rapidly as word gets out.
Many thanks for your efforts, hard work and humour put into this blog.
John
Hey John, hope business is booming with you!
Yup – the idea behind this is to guide new or fairly new internet marketers along the path to righteousness (or should that be riches in terms of information gathering), and secondly, to help make money for everyone concerned, this being what I expect to be a far easier pathway than it would be if you went down to the local Clickank store and had to sort through that mass of info products to try to figure which ones would be a good choice for you.
So the actual hard work is taken out of this to a large extent in that the products will be laid out on a table to pick and choose from, given time for me to do all the communication and assessing.
Matt Hooper brought up a good point though – what if this system becomes over-subscribed? I’ve seen that happen – where a couple of very well known internet marketers send out info about “hot” keyword phrases to their list. But in time the list becomes so hugely popular (it was a paid for service) that nothing is “hot” anymore. I’ll tackle that should the need arise but for sure it is one concern that I would very much wish to try to allviate sooner rather than later.
Thanks for your feedback John – always good to get feedback along the way!

ETA = Expected Time of Arrival. Sorry, I’m using too many TLA’s (Three Letter Acronyms) again Joseph!

Someone else was kind enough to fill me in on ETA Rob, thanks
ETA for the first product/s is hopefully by this time next week. A lot going on behind the scenes as we speak so its a case of tying up all sorts of loose ends, then we should have lift off! I’ll keep you posted on that!
Wow, it sounds great! Can’t wait Joseph!
Super Zoe! Be assured I’ll be doing my utmost to make this a success for everyone involved too, so its not going to be a case of set and forget for me!
This sounds very intriguing. I’ll keep an eye out for the opt-in form so I can be a part of your private product list. Thank you.

That’s great Amber! I’ll start working on the first couple of optin messages tonight and as mentioned in a previous comment – hope to get the whole system in place and working within a week from now.

Hey Joseph,
this sounds amazingly great. What do I have to do if I am intersted? Do I need to sign up to another opt in? Whatever it is I am ready, since finding good products is always a pain in the ass for me. Call me perfectionist but I don’t feel like selling crap.
Btw, If you need help with the techie part just drop me an email. I will be more than happy to help you.

Akil recently posted..9 steps to the perfect marketing plan
Hi Cristina, thanks for your feedback, and for your kind offer of assistance with something that quite honestly I am a pile of rubbish at! Yes, I remember over on Pat’s blog we had a “chat” about that – you were not so good at sourcing suitable products. No doubt a huge amount of folks have the same problems. And its not just the sourcing, its knowing what to do after sourcing that is a real killer also – “correct” keyword phrase usage is vital!
There will be an optin to sign up to – yes (if I can work out how to use the damn thing – so far, no good, so it seems the email could well be in the “post” to you shortly). This optin will be specifically geared for the affiliate marketing stuff here and nothing else.
I’ll probably be in touch soon Cristina, because I’m not one for banging my head on the wall in an effort to climb over it, should there be someone else who has the right equipment and is willing to share that equipment with me. Thanks again for your kind offer (are you very sure?
)
Joseph
Hi Akil, to be honest – my plans come and my plans go. I have lots of great thoughts about what to do, but many of them never see the light of day. However, a number of those that I have shared on this blog over the past 6 months – even though I’ve not be in a position to do anything with them, they are very much on the backburner just waiting for the right moment to get into launch mode.
This particular plan of action however, is very much on the go, so it will not be long before the first of what will hopefully be many products is fed “into the system”. As I mentioned recently – hopefully we should have lift off within about 5 days of now. I’ll let everyone know about this again shortly.
Thanks for your interest Akil!
Joseph
HI Joseph,
This is am amazing idea, and I completely support it! This is a wonderful idea, and I actually –now that I think about it– can’t believe no one has done this before.
Well, no one that I have seen. the advice is always, “Go find an affiliate product you think will work.” Of course, they don’t mention how to find one, or how to figure out what you need to know about it to figure if it’ll work.
The words, “Find one that’ll work” is an entire information product potential by itself.
Delena
Delena Silverfox recently posted..David’s Cookies Coupon Codes
Hi Delena, yes – the “best” I’ve seen before is the “we’ll provide you a list of 300 keyword phrases (or in Chris Rempel’s case it was something like 5,000 kwd phrases for a price tag of $200, which I very stupidly purchased and then did nothing with, mainly because the list was one very large mess).
But even here where there is a charge for the information, its a case of “we give you a snippet of ‘fairly useless information (that no doubt you don’t truly understand what to do with)’ and you go out and do all the hard work on your own (and still no doubt make little to no income)”.
So yes, I don’t believe I’ve seen anything quite like this, even though it does also appear to me to be a fairly obvious solution. However, I would have to presume that even if there is something out there which is similar, the price tag of joining up is prohibitive to the vast majority of us, therefore we’ve not seen anything like this because we are not aware of it.
In my mind that is a ‘bit’ limited in scope. Surely if such a system is going to be good or even great, the fact that making it totally free of charge (in monetary terms) or at least very affordable to join is the way to go. It offers a winning scenario for everyone who cares to join, and not only those who have plenty of money. Sometimes its amazing just how wrapped up with the word “money” people seem to be. Perhaps its high time there was a major re-evaluation within society. Money = happiness or money (oftentimes) = a troubled mind?
Thanks for your very positive thoughts, Delena!

Joseph
Hi Joseph! Honestly, I find your study interesting but I don’t know if it would work for me because I’m just a newbie. Actually it’s the 20% commission that attracts me and I wanna do my best to have that. Receiving that amount of passive income really excites me. Can’t wait to read more!
charlene @ Michigan seo recently posted..Staying Alive and Relevant on the Web!
Hi Charlene, thanks for your feedback!
This is it though – I’ve set up this whole thing so it is friendly for someone who is new. And that is what makes this very unusual – it caters both to new affiliate marketer and to those who are very experienced.
As long as you can build a basic site and build backlinks to it, there is not much else you are left to do on your own because you can ask my advice for anything else. I’m not at all saying I will always be right – many of the potential niches are unknown to me, although I do have extensive experience in a whole lot of different niches. But I’ll be trying hard to work with you, so it provides a very large advantage here compared to where you would be working alone.

Hi Joseph – I just read your comment above about buying a Chris Rempel list….
Guess what, he has just released another, sort of list service called actually rank, that provides 2000 blog urls each month.
The list is supposed to be mostly dofollow blog pages that hopefully accept comments from us would be IM’ers. He’s restricted the sale of the list to 14 other people, on my basic plan anyway.
I subscribed for the first month and it is a new launch, so there are bound to be hiccups and there were, big time. Anyway, he keeps saying we’re all in it for the long haul and all that. I’m sure the list is good, but I spent a couple of hours going through it and it doesn’t really work for me, so I’ve just un-subscribed. I think I need to keep the $69/month in my own pocket for now.
It just made me smile when you said you’d bought a large keyword list off the same guy.
Got to keep smiling
Best regards, Scouse John
Hi John, the list I purchased (very bad move on my part, has to be said!!) was a 200 buck one-off payment. No doubt the current list is going to make a whole lot more money for Mr Rempel due to it being a 69 per month job.
Now, I’m not one to name specific names when it comes to providing not-so-worthy content in return for a very impressive online income, but it seems to me that in this case the nail is being hit right smack bang on the head!
After all, there is software out there that can be purchased for a one-time fee which will provide all sorts of details about blogs that you can comment on and whether they are do-follow or no-follow and a whole lot more besides. So, from what you tell me about this list John, it sounds like a proper rip-off.
Personally, although I still receive an occasional email from Mr Rempel, as soon as I see one land in my inbox, it gets trashed without giving it a second thought. And that’s because I know full well that he’ll be discussing an amazing plan he stumbled upon that makes his friend 20 grand a month for doing very little work, and he’s willing to sell the exact blueprint to me for a mere 1 thousand bucks.
Call me a sceptic…
Thanks John!
Joseph
My thoughts exactly… what made me decide to cancel was that the first list was utter rubbish, mainly very very old abandoned and foreign blogs. Had a few sincere emails about how they’re getting there and there had been massive glitches in the harvesting algo etc etc and promises of we’re all in it for the long haul.
They refreshed the list twice, but the main ‘refresh’ was going to be completed on 1st May, my second subscription payment was coming out on 29th April. Yep, call me sceptical too
Speak soon, John
Its a shame really John – I purchased a couple of Chris’ earlier works and his information used to be really good stuff, albeit a bit pricey in my opinion. It was Chris R who really put me to rights on the buyer keyword ideas – think like a buyer and not just presume you know it all already. Up till I read that product, I was lost in the IM world and was making next to nothing each month. After reading his stuff, it got better, put it that way.
I’m amazed – utterly amazed by the amount of glowing comments he gets on his blog about how wonderful all his ideas are. But then, (and no disrespect intended here) there is a whole mass of newbie and failed IM folks following Chris R, so it seems that almost anything he puts out on the market will be jumped on and gobbled up regardless its going to take a huge amount of work (if even that) to see any results.
Chris has this ability of reassuring his followers that if you just add 2 and 2 together you’ll be a huge winner, where in reality its more a case of adding 2 and 2 together and after months and months of hard work and sheer grind you may still have a glimmer of hope left in you, if you are (un)lucky.
Us sceptics need to stick together, LOL!
If your visitors are savvy enough they will replace your affiliate link with their own and take a nice little discount off of the purchase price of the product. Luckily there are several different ways to cloak or mask your affiliate links..
That’s always one potential problem with this set up, Business Daily. However, sales can only go through my link at the moment so I think I’m covered there – at least for the time being. And should there be a change to that, then as you say, masking or cloaking the link will become a necessity.
Joseph
